My journey began with a passion for video games and movies, leading me to the United States in the mid-2000s to earn a degree in computer graphics at DePaul University in Chicago. However, due to family reasons, I returned to my home country and spent 20 years in jobs that did not bring me joy, as the computer graphics industry was not established there at the time.
In early 2024, I had another opportunity to live in the United States, this time in New York City, with aspirations of becoming a computer graphics artist. However, with the advent of Artificial Intelligence, a career in computer graphics no longer seemed as appealing.
This led me to pursue photography, a field that has reignited my passion. Doing photography in New York is vastly different from my experience in Jakarta. Here, I have had the chance to meet and work with a diverse range of people from various backgrounds, preferences, and needs. I love every moment of it!
